SuperFrio announces investments in a container yard, in the refrigerated logistics center of Mairinque-SP

WITH INITIAL CAPACITY OF 210 TEUs, CONTAINER COURTYARD WILL EXPAND THE SERVICES OFFER OF THE REFRIGERATED LOGISTICS CENTER

SuperFrio, a company controlled by Pátria Investimentos, and a leader in the refrigerated logistics industry in South America according to IARW, announced investments for the construction of a container yard at its Mairinque unit. The DC, which has a capacity of more than 20 thousand pallets, and is located close to a railway branch, will strengthen the service offer for food exporting and importing customers. The construction schedule is expected to be executed during the next two months and the start of operations is projected for this year.

SuperFrio already operates in the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with a strong presence in the agribusiness, food service, general storage, distribution and export and import markets.

According to SuperFrio's Commercial Director, Vinicius Falcão, “the integrated logistics solution with warehouse services, container yard and transport from or to the port of Santos, allows for a reduction in the logistics costs of the supply chain of food exporting and importing companies. In addition, our customers will no longer manage multiple suppliers, since SuperFrio will manage and execute all stages of the logistics process”.

The refrigerated logistics center of Mairinque-SP is strategically located close to the Raposo Tavares and Castelo Branco highways, with easy access to both Greater São Paulo, the interior of the state and the Port of Santos. With infrastructure planned to support movements of up to 50 thousand tons per month, and management backed by SuperFrio's SGI (Integrated Management System), which includes the application of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and the HACCP Program, the logistics center also uses BY's state -of-the-art WMS.

“We will continue to focus on growing together with our customers, whether organically or through acquisitions, always inspired by our Vision: To be the first option in refrigerated logistics solutions in South America, until 2023”, points out Francisco Moura, CEO of SuperFrio .
